The pizza was gruesome, the pasta was edible but nothing special .... The waiter wasn't exactly friendly either, we're not going back here.

Absolutely best Italian restaurant in town! Unfortunately I had to eat my vegetarian Tris di Pasta at home today, but it was divine again! V a. the penne with mushrooms were awesome! Thanks for that!

Totally delicious Togo. Currently one of the few Italians who are still open. The salmon fillet was through and juicy, very plentiful and the tiramisu was extremely tasty. There was a large portion of side dishes in the extra box.

Swift and considerate service. Our waiter was polite and made the experience even more enjoyable. The kitchen's appetizers were a delightful surprise, and the main dishes left us with a good feeling for a future visit.

Not reserved, still got a table for 45min. Friendly and efficient service. Pasta with black truffle. Simple and delicious.

We wanted to spontaneously enjoy Italian pasta, unfortunately and mega disappointed for me. Unfortunately, as regular guests of the city, we have to say: never this place again, three meals, three bad. Greetings from the house, bruschetta ... meant nicely, but stale bread.

Nobody knows Corona distance regulations here. Guests walk through the restaurant without face masks. About the food: the pizza was mediocre at best. The starter plate okay. Service: it didn't exist! No plates were cleared away, nor were we asked if we wanted to have a drink. You can't run a restaurant like that. If the gentlemen don't feel like serving guests properly, they should change jobs.

I have known the restaurant for more than 40 years, a meeting place for many Würzburgers with a changing menu of the day and very delicious dishes.

Tasty food, fair price, italian staff, very very nice

We have already eaten here four times. So far it has always been good and I therefore give it a solid 4 stars. The visit yesterday was unfortunately the worst so far. Still it was good! Small points of criticism are: On the anti pasti starter I would have a slice of ham or salami, or something similar. requested, fish and cheese were available. The sauce on the spaghetti Vongole was a bit bland. The service was unfortunately not as good as usual. We were forgotten a few times, but then the boss tried to serve us quickly. The biquits of the tiramisu were still very hard, but it was still tasty. Plus point: The Fusilli Calabrese are always really tasty. Overall, it was a nice evening, but there is still room for improvement. The visit yesterday would be m.M. After only worth 3 stars, but since the visits before that were significantly better, I decided to give 4 stars overall. Thank you and see you next time!

Interstingly enough, the owner is notoriously known throughout würzburg, to be a very rude and arrogant Person. I came to experience this with my own eyes. Random choice made me and a friend (a known german actor) choose this Restaurant for some conversation and food. from the start we were treated like some of the reviews suggest - rushed and hurried. After aditional and very impolite interactions my friend decided to not even eat there. I was served a scarcely topped Pizza that should have been cooked a little longer, but was OK. The prices arent though, i suppose the adjacent high-end hotel raises the liquidity of his guests.

Seated at noon on Saturday, the food was delicious. Pizza tastes very good, with a surcharge of € 2.40 you can order gluten-free (both pasta and pizza). It's worth the wait! Toni is a very nice chef;)

Due to the very good rating, we have reserved here. We were 5 people and we all had one opinion. Service okay, food okay. Personally, I ate a pizza because it smelled so delicious of pizza. She was good, no question about it. But not better than the delivery service or something. I missed the special mhhhh. Of course it's all a matter of taste. Veal steak from a friend was also more ok than mhhhhhh. But a friend liked the mussels. I was more disappointed than pleased with the service. Because with every "excuse" I thought "hmm ... if they don't feel like guests ...". We may have had a bad day, but I won't make a second visit. Still all the best!

Reservation was forgotten. Very rude to the fact that you were unlucky. Then get a table with a time limit. Pasta dish was very manageable. Nobody asked if everything was fine. Great birthday!!

I was there by accident and spontaneously for dinner. Despite corona and no reservation on Saturday noon I was given space. The card is not overloaded, but there is something for every taste. A nice touch was the starter on the house ... The pizza came quickly and hot ... Tasty and sufficiently filled ... However, I had the feeling that regular guests were treated more friendly than the regular customers ... Hence the deduction ... Typical Italian decor

They are nice and friendly and have good food. Interesting starters. It is therefore very popular to make a reservation beforehand. The pizzas are decent and taste good. It can be a nice time there if you bring friends. Good atmosphere.

It looks to me that this restaurant is in the same location as it was in the early 1970's. This was my family's favorite Italian restaurant. They had a dish called the "combination" that I always ordered. If I am ever lucky enough to make it back to Würzburg, this will definitely be on of my first stops!

Very delicious pasta. The service was great. You can sit outside during summer.

My spaghetti alio e olio was not freshly cooked. It was heated, the oil was very bad and the dish was unbelievably greasy. I ate half the portion, cause I was very hungry. I got a food poisoning of the dish, vomiting half a night. My worst Italian food experience ever. Specially after returning from my vacation from Liguria.

Average Italian restaurant. Food just a bit too much salt, the pizza dough just a tad too dry, service just a little sloppy, but great atmosphere and good wine.

They told me about this restaurant but in many years in Würzburg I had never been there ... Anyway it was like they told me .... All positive !!!! Room furnished like the classic Italian trattorias, all well finished. Not to mention the food then, a real treat ... I ate an amatriciana the best I've ever tasted (better than any restaurant in Amatrice), and then the rest ... Very fresh appetizers and spectacular pizza, wine incredibly good ... Thanks I will gladly return to taste your delicacies !!!

Nice place for Italian food and atmosphere..

Good location and nice ambience. The staff is kind and nice. Booking a table is recommended. I ordered the soup and pizza and wine. The wine was good. The soup was cream of tomato which was quite good. The pizza Napoli could have been much better. Not all like how I had expected. But the restaurant itself is very famous and always crowded . . . Recommend a visit

Ate here many many times in the 70s. AWESOME food and memories!! STILL the best pizza I have ever had, even all these decades later!

It's not an Italian restaurant; It's THE Italian Restaurant in Würzburg! Excellent food, very friendly staff (Latin people will understand) and very nice location. 5 stars out 5 possible stars. Personally I would have given it 10 stars;). Try it and you will not be disappointed!
